Celebrating Finlands 100th Independence day in Pristina
The 100th Independence day of Finland was celebrated in Kosovo with a concert and reception on Friday 1st of December. Both Kosovar and Finnish guests attended, along with representatives from international organisations and embassies.

Despite of the weather being all but the best, many invited guests managed to be present to celebrate Finland
The President of the Republic of Kosovo, mr. Hashim Thaci, also had the opportunity to congratulate Finland on it's independence and thank Finland for the support it's given Kosovo throughout the years
The first part of the centenary Independence day reception was a concert, with performers from both Kosovo and Finland. Pictured here is the Finnish pianist Johannes Piirto who played both finnish and international pieces.
