“Doing business with Finland” seminar held in Pristina

On 3rd of October, the Embassy of Finland and Finnpartnership in cooperation with the Kosova Chamber of Commerce, the American Chamber in Kosovo and the Chamber of Doing Business in Kosova held the seminar “Doing Business with Finland”.

In addition to information about the Finnish and Nordic markets, Kosovan companies had the possibility to match with companies from Finland that are looking for business partners in Kosovo.

Welcoming remarks by Ambassador Pia Stjernvall

Ambassador Pia Stjernvall expressed satisfaction with the interest of Kosovo businesses to cooperate with businesses from Finland. "I think Kosovo has a lot to give, has the youngest population in Europe, a favorable climate for agricultural development and potential for development of the ICT sector, while Finnish companies are global leaders in energy efficiency, clean industrial processes and bio energy. Finland leads in the innovation index, has the expertise and the know-how. Considering these strengths, I believe there are real opportunities for profitable business relationships for both sides, for Kosovo and Finnish companies”, stressed Stjernvall.

Representatives of more than 40 Kosovo companies were thankful for this opportunity and looking forward for the materialization of business discussions and verbal agreements with Finnish companies.
